Employee Store Apparel Use

The handbook attire policy is outlined below. Please select an option to expand and review the guidelines on appropriate use of apparel available for purchase in the employee store. Note that not all items may be worn at all times.


Acceptable Attire (Monday – Thursday)

  • Polos
  • Dress Shirts
  • Sweaters & Vests

Unacceptable Attire (Monday – Friday)

  • T-Shirts (short or long sleeve) — unless worn under a dress shirt or polo
  • Sweatshirts & Hooded Sweatshirts — not acceptable at any time

Friday Casual

  • Golden Rule T-shirts may be worn on Fridays

Acceptable Attire

  • Hats: ball caps or stocking caps with the Golden Rule logo
  • Black Golden Rule Coats
  • Raincoats: any color, logo-free, and in good condition

Unacceptable Attire

  • T-Shirts (short or long sleeve) — unless worn under approved attire
  • Sweatshirts, zip-ups, pull-overs, or sweaters — not acceptable at any time
